Happy Easter!

Today we kicked off our badminton unit! Students really seem to be excited to play improve their skills. Badminton is a great sport because you need coordination, fast feet and team work when playing doubles.

In Jk-Grade 1 we played freeze dance and cooperative games to boast team work.

Have a great long weekend!

Competition rocks!

Hello Everyone

Today we had a very competitive day, every class from SK up played a sport. SK and grade one played soccer and 2-8 played floor hockey. I was impressed with the sportsmanship displayed by a number of students.

Tomorrow I'm excited to announce the older grades will start their badminton unit.

Have a great night.

After school Form Typo

Sorry, there is a typo on the after school form that went home today.

Karate is still Tuesday and Thursday

Welcome Back

I hope everyone had a great couple of weeks off!!

As I did at the start of the last term, I have been doing fitness testing with the students. I have noticed improvements across the board for the most part in strength and endurance.

With the JK and SK we continued to work on our had eye coordination and balance today in class.

The grade 3/4's were given the task of designing their own warm-up exercises. Students will be able to present their warm-ups to the class over the next couple weeks.

Good evening

Today I thought I would sneak in a fitness day for the grade 3-8's! I'm sure they were happy about it but it was for the best.

I continued to play soccer with the jk-grade 2's today. It's great exercise and the students seem to love it.

Reminder Wednesday is our final ski day for the grade 5-8's, bus leaves at 7:15 and returns at 5:00pm from Mansfield ski club.
