Soccer jersey day!

It was great to see all the students in their soccer jerseys today.

We also had our first tryout for the U-10 travel soccer team, there was an overwhelming turnout and we saw many eager soccer stars. We will have another tryout tomorrow and the team will be announced Friday. 

Basketball game at the Maples

Tomorrow we had a basketball game against the Maples in Orangevile. The team is excited to face the new school tomorrow at 1pm!

Mansfield ski day #3!

We had another great day of skiing and sunshine at Mansfield ski club. A huge thank you goes out the instructors at the club who gave the students quality instruction everytime. I noticed everyone improving and gaining confidence each time we went. 

Final day of skiing

We have our final day of skiing this Wednesday at Mansfield ski club. Bus leaves at 7:45 sharp and returns around 5.

Second place at the SSAF bonspiel!

On Friday the St. Jude's curling team traveled to the Richmond Hill curling club to participate in the SSAF annual curling bonspiel. We started off strong with a victory over TMS, spirits were very high. Unfortunately we faced a strong second TMS team in the second match who made a few great shots. With our record at 1-1 we knew if we could maximize our points in the third we would have a shot at the runner up position. St. Jude's delivered and curled four winning ends to give us a high enough total to place second overall!! We also had the two highest scores for any match in the entire tournament.
